Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
TA Rugs (tarugs.com) is a blog about rugs. We collect as little personal information as we can get away with, and this page explains what we do collect and why.
Information you give us
If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit. We use them to reply to you and for nothing else. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t share your details with anyone.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. Our caching system (LiteSpeed Cache) may set technical cookies that make the site load faster; they don’t identify you. If we add analytics in the future, we’ll use a privacy-respecting configuration and update this page.
Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may set cookies to attribute the sale, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those cookies belong to the retailer (for example, Amazon), and their privacy policies govern them. We label affiliate relationships in our content.
Comments and embedded content
If comments are enabled on an article, the name, email, and comment you submit are stored by WordPress. Articles may embed content (videos, social posts) from other sites, which behave as if you visited those sites directly, including their cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — just contact us. Since our data collection amounts to “emails you sent us,” these requests are usually quick.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for instance, if we add analytics or a newsletter — we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
